Our Vision: "Participation. Enjoyment. Confidence."
Bidgeekids Therapy is a paediatric occupational therapy practice based in Wagga Wagga NSW with outreach services in the Henty/Lockhart areas. Our practice also serves to support occupational therapists with clinical supervision and resources related to paediatric practice.
Our service is dedicated to helping children and teens thrive in their everyday activities of play, self care and learning.
Originally established in 2014 by Joanna Caton, the service now includes an experienced team which provides;
Occupational therapy for children and teens;
Clinical supervision for occupational therapists and;
Professional development resources and training workshops for occupational therapists.
Occupational therapy is concerned with helping children to participate confidently in daily activities of playing, being social, learning, sleeping and self care. Our therapists believe in helping children to reach their goals by harnessing strengths and by building on helpful foundations such as emotional regulation, fine motor skills, motor co-ordination, thinking skills and sensory processing.
Bidgeekids offers two service hubs.
Our Wagga Wagga hub provides clinic- based appointments and consultations within your child's natural environment. Our Wagga Wagga occupational therapists are Joanna Caton and Jenny Robertson.
Our South West service provides visiting consultations to your child's school, preschool, child care or home within the Culcairn, Holbrook, Henty and Lockhart areas. Our South West occupational therapist is Megan Coyle.
Our therapists are experienced working with children eligible for NDIS funding. Bidgeekids Occupational Therapy is able to see NDIS participants of any age who have "self-managed" or financial "plan-managed" NDIS packages.
We are also NDIS registered to serve particpants who are over 7 years of age and who have "NDIA-managed" NDIS plans.
